What was added in 2019?


November 11, 2019: Added additional identification to the 1942 Atlantic High Class Reunion Picnic Photo (1957), as well as a full 1942 AHS Class Roster from the 1942 Javelin. Thanks to Carolyn Key and everyone who has been assisting with identification! Also added a vintage photo of Marne Masonic Hall contributed by David Shedlock.

November 6, 2019: Added 1942 Atlantic High School Class Reunion Picnic in 1957.

November 5, 2019: Added transcription of an 1876 Medical Directory for Cass County.

October 14, 2019: Added 11 more vintage photo postcards: More Atlantic Churches, Senator J. E. Bruce Residence, Atlantic Nursing Home, American Legion Memorial Building, Sunnyside Swimming Pool, and Atlantic National Bank. All were contributed by David Shedlock from his vintage Iowa postcard collection.

October 10, 2019: Added photo postcards of Anita Christian Science Church and Main Street, Griswold contributed by David Shedlock. Also added a color postcard of Cass County Soldiers Monument.

October 4, 2019: Added 2 unknown photos from Cumberland. Thanks again to David Shedlock! If you can help with identification, please contact the Cass County Coordinator.

September 19, 2019: Added additional photo of the Cass County Soldiers Monument, showing the Civil War cannon. Thanks to David Shedlock! Also added vintage photo of Griswold High School and updated the Century Farms list with additions for 2018.

September 9, 2019: All biographies and photos from The First Century, A History of Marne, Iowa 1875 1975 are now online - this volume is complete.

September 6, 2019: Added a complete index to The First Century, A History of Marne, Iowa 1875 1975, along with transcriptions of approximately the first twenty-two pages. The remainder of the book has already been transcribed and will be online soon!

August 15, 2019: Added Cass County Women Who Served in WWI, contributed by Mary Hoegh and the CCGS.

July 30, 2019: Updated the Cass County Genealogical Society page and added the July Newsletter.

April 10, 2019: Added remaining pages of Franklin Township except Wiota from the 1930 Federal Census. Franklin Twp. has been completely transcribed. Thanks again to Lisa Varnes Rex!

April 2, 2019: Updated Century Farms list with additions for 2017.

January 28, 2019: Added indexes compiled by the Cass County Genealogical Society of WWI Women Who Served and WWII Female Veterans. Also updated the Newspaper page to add a link to the the recently digitized Atlantic newspapers at Advantage Preservation.
