Ron,
I wanted to get back to you in regard to the search for the obituary of Mahala Blue Banning.
Old issues of the Ossian Bee are on microfilm at the Decorah Public Library - Genealogy Dept. I looked at several issues of the paper on microfilm for the weeks following her death and am unable to find any mention of it in the paper. I will keep looking though.
