Their son, Phineas, married my great grandfather's sister. Her name was Mahala Frances Blue. Mahala and Phineas had 12 children. Elizanne, John William, Abraham, Nathaniel, Elizabeth Jane, David, Peter S., Susana, Richard, Nancy Asbury, Mary Frances, and Phineas Michael. Mahala nd Phineas donated the land for Greenwood Centennial Cemetery in Winneshiek County where they are buried.
