Phineas Banning was born on October 17, 1815 in Muskingum County Ohio. He died on April 10 1893 in Winneshiek County Iowa. In married Mahala Blue on December 10, 1840 in Coshocton County, Ohio. Phineas' Birth and Death dates are on his cemetery stone. I visited the cemetery last summer and have a photograph of it.

I have a printout, but I do not know the source, it says that Nathaniel Banning was born in 1788 and Nancy A. (Hall) Banning was born on April 3, 1797. I can't verify these dates though.
