Johnson Funeral Home of Ottumwa has the following info:Wapello County.

Records book #7 page 515
John I KLINGER; born 2-22-1868 Davis County Iowa.
Died at Ottumwa, Iowa on 4-02-1942. His father is listed in funeral home records as being Frederick KLINGER who was born in Ohio. Mother is listed as Sarah; last name unknown. Sarah was born in Ohio also.
Burial was at Klinger Cemetery; Ottumwa Iowa.

There is said to be an obit. Contact the library of Wapello County at Ottumwa Iowa as they have obits on microfilm.

Johnson Funeral Chapel book 9
George William KLINGER born 9-17-1861 at Davis County Iowa. Died at Ottumwa on 4-13-1946. Widower of Lydia. His father is listed as Frederick KLINGER and mother as Sarah; last name unknown. He was buried at Baer Cemetery in Davis County, Iowa. There is an obit.
