Michael Henry Kearns died on 17 Mar 1931. Mary J. Kearns died on 21 May 1919. There is no real obituary for either, just a death announcement.

The announcement for Michael Henry indicates that he was born in Ottumwa (no date) and had lived there all his life. His survivors were 2 brothers Joseph and John.

The marriage record for Henry and Mary indicates that they were married on 16 Aug 1893 as you indicated. Mary's name was listed as Mrs. Mary J. Sherrod (Orndorff).

I checked the marriage records further and found a record for Mary J. Orndorff who married Samuel E. Sherrod on 23 Jul 1880.
