I would be glad to have you send additional information. My address is 4082 Clovercroft Rd. Franklin, Tn 37067.
We do have questions that maybe you can clear up. The 1880 census of West Branch township shows Gerret Wesslink 34 years with stepchildren Hendrik,15 yr,Bernedina, 15yr, Alida,11yr, Dirk Jan,7 yr Barend Jan,7yr, and Gezina,6yr (all with last name Wesselink)all born in Holland, also wife Grada C. and Derek Jan, 4 yr, and Hendrik J., 3 yr. These birth dated correspond to what we think are the children of Johanna. The interesting thing is in the same census(1880 in West Branch township)these same children are listed as step children of Herman Jan Wissink and wife Johanna.
So any information you have will be great. Do you live in Sioux County? We make infrequent visits,but would like to meet and compare notes. We have a 100 year old photo with "Grandma and Grandpa Wissink" and Uncle Mannas and Aunt Hattie Wissink,Uncle Harm Wissink, Uncle Dick Wissink, Uncle Jake Wissink along with several Wesselinks, including Bernedina and Mennes Borgman. Are these familiar names to you?
