Hello Klaas:
I am the researcher for Sioux County Genealogical Society. We would love to have those letters to put in our Zuidema and Leistra files. I will make every effort to find there descendants to make sure they get a copy of the letters.
It will take me a while to track down descendants as my usual approach is to find the obituaries in the local newspapers (I see three Zuidemas and two Leistras in the Cemetery Index) or census records to get the names of the children, then track down the children's families. In the mean time please copy the letters and send them to:

or if you have them scanned, I can receive them at [my email above]
They will make a good addition to our history of the early settlers.
