As someone perhaps already has told you, Lucas County death records show that Archie Pierce died Nov. 22, 1917, at the county home and was buried in the Chariton Cemetery. If that is the case, his grave there is unmarked. There is a cemetery at the former county home site, but very few graves there are marked.
