Miss Verda,

Thank you for straightening out for me, the name of that Cemetery.
However, we have been told and been under the impression that my Grandfather Alfred Leonard bought the cemetery lot for his father, (my greatgrandfather) Henry Leonard who died in 1876.
If you have proof that it definetly was an ALFRED LEONARD buried there, perhaps then we can know that greatgrandfather, Henry Leonards other name was ALFRED.

Alfred Leonard, my grandfather, died Feb 28, 1900 and is biuried at Shaul Cemetery, Wapello County, along with his wife, Martha Woodward Leonard.

You say that there was great records kept of that particular Cemetery. If so, how do I obtain those records to find my greatgrandmother, Martha "Patsey" Raines Leonard that died in the 1860's?? And we probably more relatives in that Cemetery.
Regards
Mary Leonard-Stephenson
