There is an Evergreen Cemetery in Fairfield Iowa not Greenwood.....and Alfred purchased the lot on the day mentioned, yes. There are extensive lot records and burials on each lot. It is noted that Alfred was one buried on the lot he purchased with no death date listed. This is a huge cemetery with l0,000 people in it and they have GOOD records.
