Thanks for that information, Ken. John Conarty, who I suspect was Bernard's brother, bought land from Thomas and Mary Flaherty, so I've wondered if they knew each other back in Ireland. John later sold part of it to Bernard. And I noticed that the land patent went to an Edward Flaherty, if I recall the first name correctly. Do you know where in Ireland your Flahertys were from?
