Is this who you are looking for? You didn't say exactly when he died - Minnehaha co. SD, St. Michael's cemetery shows 2 James McKeon's buried there - one died in 1907, the other in 1924. This death notice might be for the man who died in 1907:
Dies at 104 Years While on a Visit
Sioux Falls, S.D., May 29 - At the home of his son, James F. McKeon in this city, occurred the death of James McKeon, aged 104 years, he being the oldest man who ever resided in South Dakota. His residence here extended, however, over only a few days, as he and his 92 year old wife arrived in Sioux Falls only Tuesday of this week from McGregor, Ia., where they had made their home for many years.
