I cannot find an obit or any other information on James Francis McKeon who lived in Giard from 1865-1907 as a farmer. He died in Sioux Falls, SD after a tragic fire that drove him to Sioux Falls to live with his only son. I am surprised that there does not appear to be on obit for him. I am sure he was Catholic but I have not found any reference to him in Catholic church records. I would appreciate any help on finding more information on him and his wife Anna--especially an obit. I do have the 1870 and 1880 Federal census and Iowa census.
