Bishop Dunn was a wonderful priest and man. He was a great supporter of Catholic marriages through his long involvement with World Wide Marriage Encounter. In 1986 he served as Episcopal Moderator of WWME and, in that role, received a supportive letter from Pope John Paul II - another WWME supporter - on the occasion of the National Convention being held in Tampa, Fla.
