How would a person find the paperwork on Joseph and Malinda's divorce?

Also, Malinda's children with Joseph went with her to Holt County, Nebraska, and were part of the family my grandfather grew up in, as his step-siblings.

Lucy Catherine Steele, we know about, she married nearby and stayed connected, but her brother, Robert A. Steele, seems to have vanished in the 20s or 30s. ... Well, that happened in Nebraska, but Robert A. is part of Joseph's descendancy.
