try not to depend too much on genealogy work done by others. oftentimes it was done at a time when there was no internet and records were hard to access. I had to go back 7 generations before I could link up with a published book on my father's family and most of it was wrong. I had to start over. I can send you some paper forms : family group sheets and pedigree charts if the internet is rather overwhelming as it as for me
