Looking for GGG Grandfather

Looking for information on HUNT, David Franklin b)1831 Apr 27 d) 1861 Nov He was stuck and killed by a lightening strike somewhere along the Des Moines River two months before his son was born. He was married to BROWN, Nancy. We do don't know where they came from or anything about them past their move to Ottuma, IA. Any info would help. It's the only branch of my tree I am having trouble with.
