Burgess Family in Wapello Co, IA

Looking for info on the family of brothers Samuel and John C. Burgess. In 1880, John Burgess was living with wife Matilda, children and His mother Margaret in Columbia, Wapello, IA. Samuel Burgess was living with wife, Mariah & children in Harrison, Mahaska, IA in 1880. In 1900 census Samuel Burgess and family were living in Wapello Co, Ia. John was either still there or may have moved to Missouri by then. According to family info, John & Samuel Burgess' father was Henry Burgess from Germany. According to 1880 census, their mother's name was Margaret and she was from Maryland and father (not listed) was from VA or MD. If any one has any info, especially census records before 1880 on this family it would be greatly appreciated.
According to other family info, the family moved to Eddyville, IA about 1850 from Indiana where John & Samuel were born. On marriage record of Samuel Burgess & Mariah Hartshorn his name is spelled Burges.
