I show that a Mary Caldwell married James F. Daugherty on 23 Apr 1866 in Lee county.

Without more specific information, it will be hard to trace anyone. Caldwell is a very popular name in early Wapello county. There are 18 brides named Caldwell in early county records and there are 16 grooms.

There are 6 Caldwell grooms in Lee county including John, Joseph (twice), William, Jesse and George. There 7 brides named Caldwell - Nanie, Martha, Mary, Mary E., Jane H., Ruth, and Anna M.

If you have any more information or would like marriage dates for any of the ones listed above let me know.
