Martin Family Ankeny or Altoona Iowa

I am looking for information on a Martin family that lived in Ankeny and Altoona, Iowa, at different times or at least my husband's grandma thinks that is where they lived. Rueben the father, could have gone by RJ or Rub or Jacob, his wife's name may have been Ruth, and we know she was deaf. They had at least two daughters, Adabelle and Josephine. Rueben had a sister Sarah Knight that lived in Des Moines and was married to a Pleasant Knight who had a shoe shop. Just trying to fill in family information. Thanks for any help
