Not sure if this is who you're looking for, but found on my marriage index cd.

Jacob Martin married Rubaler Doggett on
Sep 6, 1867 in Polk county.

Also found Alice Martin married Ples. Knight
on Nov 14, 1893 in Wapello county.

William W. Knight married Clarissa Butin on
Apr 8, 1847 in Wapello county.

W.E. Knight married Rena Carnes on
Feb 4, 1905 in Wapello county.

You give no time frame, so I'm just giving what I think might be helpful, etc.

There was also a Jospehine Knight married
James R. Frost on May 20, 1869 in Lee county.

Don't know if any of these are yours.
