Sorry- if you click on my name it gives the correct email but for some reason posts the wrong email addy.
Yes I found Robert C. Payne living with the Williams family in Cleveland, Lucas Co., Iowa where he was working in 1880- however am unable to find his wife Mary Evans Payne and their two sons George and David in 1880. She is not with her father who still lives in Monroe Co. or any other family members. The family continued living in Monroe County until they immigrated to Canada in 1905. I am very interested in finding them in the 1880 census because I think I am missing a child who would be enumerated with Mary in 1880.
