Please note that Mary (Hass) Oswald is still alive in 1925--evidently not in Jones Co. or she had remarried.

There is a book on Monticello at the Jones Co Gen. library. I will be there on March 20th and I will look at it for you.

The Monticello library has old newspapers -- if you could get an exact date of death from the Sacred Heart church in Monticello, we would be glad to get you a copy of the obit.

Death certificates for 1932 would be available from the state of Iowa only (not at the county). There is an application for obtaining a copy on-line at the Dept. of Vital Records, State of Iowa website.
