According to the WPA Gravestone readings done in the 1930's:

Elizabeth Moor d 3/25/1864 age 24 Madison Center Cem., Madison twp. (near Wyoming, IA)
Margaretha Moor 12/7/1853-7/6/1905 Oakwood Cem, Lovell twp.
Melcheor Moor 10/21/1822-5/3/1907 Oakwood Cem., Lovell Twp.
William L Moor 1854-1932 Oakwood Cem., Lovell Twp

The Oakwood Cem is a very large cemetery in Monticello, Iowa. They have very good records.

The Monticello Public library has old newspapers.
There is probably an obituary for Melcheor and Margaretha, as well as William.

father: Melshoir Moore b Ger
mother: Hettelane Duler b Ger (Melshoir married in Germany)

William L Moore married Barbara Reichart
