James McDermott's will--

He states he was 73 yrs old when he wrote his will on 4/09/1879.

There are obituaries for both James and Ellen in the Cascade newspaper. You can call or write the Cascade Public Library. I believe they will tell you how to acquire copies of the obituaries.

James McDermott's obit is the 4/15/1881 issue
Ellen McDermott's obit is in the 4/12/1878 issue

Sons: William and James Peter
Daus: Ellen and Mary

Mary married James Flanagan on 1/22/1864 and was living in Webster Co., IA in 1881

Ellen married John Drummond on 1/03/1871. She died 2/21/1879

James Peter married on 2/24/1886 Margaret A Burke
