The Martin Head that moved to Fremont, Iowa, was my ggrandfather. Patrick was his 1st cousin. Some of the Leahy family moved to Imogene, so there are many conections. Thomas was an Uncle to my Martin then. Did you know that quite a few families from Jones Co. and Cascade made the move to Imogene? The church has land here for cattle raising and the next generation down from the original settlers, made a run to Imogene when they heard that there was really good land available. I am still interested in Uncle Tom and his many wives! I can't find gg Martin Head's (1837, Ireland) civil war record. He is identified at his grave site as a vet, and the story goes that he and his brother join to get citizenship. Also, is there any payroll records from the riverboats? You have been very helpful and I really appriciate your help. Happy Holidays. Pat Maher
