Yours is an excellent question. The obituary is very small of Mrs. Thomas (Ann) Head. In fact that is all it says. Let me check the land records concerning Nancy. You never can tell...
Here are misc.things I have learned:
John Hardiman's obit says his parents were Frank and Anna Hardiman. John married Bridget Connelly dau of John & Mary Connelly
The Martin Head who married Bridget Lyons, born Co Galway, Ire., was the 35 year old living with the Martin Head married to Mary in 1850 census. Martin and Bridget(Lyons) Head only had one child, Patrick. They lived in Randolph, Cedar Co., NE. Patrick married Julia Leahy in 1878 and had 12 children. Their marriage license was read (in error) by us as FREDERICK Head. They are obviously related because they always are at the various funerals in Cascade.
Bridget (Curley) Head m Martin Head in 1865. she died at Imogene, Fremont, IA 2/7/1929. Is this your ancester? Patrick (above) attended her funeral. The obit says that Martin was orphaned at age 14, along with 3 brothers. They moved to Imogene in 1875.
Does any know what happened to Thomas Head, Jr.'s brother, Michael?
