Fritz, Anna Mae 1917 - 1955

Clayton County Register, 01 Sept. 1955.

Funeral services were held for Miss Anna Mae Fritz Monday, August 29, at 1:15 p.m. at the Witt funeral chapel, Elkader, and at 2:00 p.m. at St. Paul's Lutheran church at Garnavillo, with the Rev. L. C. Urlaub officiating. Burial was in the Garnavillo cemetery.

Miss Fritz died at Finley hospital, Dubuque, August 26, 1955, and had been ill since May.

She was born the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Henry Fritz in Volga township July 02, 1917. She received her education in the rural schools and lived on a farm near Garber her entire life.

She is survived by her parents and one brother, Elmer Fritz.

Pallbearers were: Earl Matt, Delbert Matt, George Matt, Leonard Kruse, Hiram Zittergruen and Donald Scheffert.
