Services for George Andreae, 74, were held Wednesday at St. Sebald's Lutheran church, with the pastor, the Rev. Herman Cronrath officiating.

Mr. Andreae died last Sunday at his home in Strawberry Point after a four year illness due to a stroke.

Surviving are one sister, Miss Katie Andreae and two brothers, Henry of Oelwein and Herman of Arlington. For a number of years, Mr. Andreae farmed five miles southwest of Volga.
