Shortly after her birth she was baptized into the name of the Triune God in the Lutheran church at Clayton Center. She spent the early years of her life on the farm where she was born, helping her parents with the work.

Here she died Monday, June 27, 1955, at about 7:00 p.m., at the age of 78 years and 27 days.

She was preceded in death by four brothers and two sisters and by her husband, who died December 26, 1946.

Survivors include: one son, Roy of Farmersburg; two daughters, Mrs. Harold (Ada) Kiple of Farmersburg, and Mrs. Charles (Jamaine) Beuscher of Kansas City, Mo.; one brother, John of Luana; six grandchildren, besides other relatives and a host of friends.
