Funeral services were held Wednesday, October 16, 1957, for Mrs. Dorothy Preston Blake at the Witt funeral chapel with the Rev. John H. Zerhusen of the Zion Lutheran church, Clayton Center, officiating.

Mrs. Blake was born Feb. 04, 1877, at Chicago, Ill., the daughter of Fred and Reka Witt Blake, and died Monday, Oct. 14, 1957, at the Samaritan home, Elkader.

On Nov. 12, 1912, she was united in marriage to Charles W. Blake at Crown Point, Ind. Mr. Blake died at Clayton, Feb. 08, 1948. They lived most of their lives at Clayton and Garnavillo.

Mrs. Blake is survived by several nephews.
