Funeral services for James Borrett, 75-year-old farmer in the Garber community, were held Tuesday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock from the Tuecke funeral home in Guttenberg. Burial was in Mt. Harmony cemetery.

Borrett died Sunday morning following a stroke which he suffered on Friday.

Surviving besides his wife are three sons, Russell, at home; Raymond of Rockford, Ill.; and Ronald of Cedar Rapids; three sisters, Mrs. Lyman Hansel of Garber, Mrs. Grace Barnhart of Colesburg and Mrs. Katherine Nichols of Waukon and one brother, Will, of Guttenberg.
