Dorothy Dolly Bruckner, 22-year_old Guttenberg girl, was killed on Thursday night when the automobile she was driving sideswiped a truck on Highway 13, about three miles east of Elkader.
Miss Bruckner, who was employed as a waitress in the tavern and lunchroom operated by her brother, Irving Bruckner, in Guttenberg, was instantly killed. The victim formerly lived at Clermont.
Surviving are her mother, Mrs. Lillian Bruckner of Guttenberg; two brothers, Irving of Guttenberg and Bert of National; and one sister, Agnes, also of Guttenberg. Her father, Fred Bruckner, died three years ago.
Funeral services were held Sunday at the home in Guttenberg and to the Congregational Church at McGregor. Burial was made in the City Cemetery at McGregor, beside her father.
