MCGREGOR: Funeral services for Mrs. Wm. Kramer, 76, were held last Friday at St. Mary's Catholic church, the Rev. J. J. Horsfield officiating. Mrs. Kramer, a former McGregor resident, died Sept 03, at the home of her daughter in Savanna, Ill., after a long illness. She was born in Prairie du Chien (Wis.), Dec. 28, 1864, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Jacob Rapfauf*, and was married, April 24, 1888, to William Kramer of McGregor.
They came to McGregor to make their home and spent all of their married life here, until Mr. Kramer died in 1925. Since then she has lived with her daughter, Mrs. W. J. Whalen. besides this daughter, she is survived by three others: Mrs. P. H. Sproul of Des Moines, Mrs. R. V. Van Vess of Centerville, Mrs. H. Heddinger of Waterloo, and one son, William of Aberdeen, S.D. Six grandchildren and one great-grandchild also survive.

Note: William F. Kramer's obit states he was married in 1888 to Allie Raffoff. Her gravestone in Pleasant Grove cemetery names her as Alvina V. Kramer
