Mrs. Mary Curran died at Littleport last Sunday at 11:40 p.m. Funeral services were held there this morning at 9:30 in the Sacred Heart Church, and burial was made in St. Joseph's cemetery here, the Rev. Father Olinger officiating.

Funeral services were held in Sacred Heart Catholic church, Littleport, last Wednesday, for Mrs. Mary Curran, who died at 11:30 p.m., September 7th. Burial was made in St. Joseph's cemetery, here, with the Rev. Father Olinger officiating.
Mrs. Curran had made her home with her son, Sylvester, and family and died following a long illness. She was born at Elkport, Feb. 17, 1869, the daughter of Philip and Ellen Quinlan and had reached the age of 72 years, six months and 20 days.
She was united in marriage with Philip Curran and to this union five children were born. They are: Francis of Green Island, Ia.; Mrs. Rose Fink of Aurora, Iowa; Sylvester and Vera Curran, both of Littleport; and Viola Curran of Chicago. Besides these she is survived by four grandchildren.
Pall-bearers were William Refle, William Hackert, Joe Downey, Joe Meyer, Ed Behrens and Charles Reichart.
