In February, 1915, they moved to Farmersburg to spend their declining years. On January 16, 1934, they were privileged to celebrate their golden wedding.

She was a kind, loving wife and mother, always working for the interest of her home and family. She was a faithful worker in her church and took part in the ladies aid as long as her health permitted her to. Her health has been failing for the last four years, and since last October she has been bed-ridden. She died Saturday morning at 4:20.

She leaves to mourn her departure her husband, three daughters, Mrs. Joe Holly, Mrs. Jessie Jones, and Flossie, four sons Ira, Gus, and Herb, all of this locality, and Leo of Bagley, Wis., four half-sisters, Mrs. Henry Harnack of Reseda, Calif., Mrs. Ella Meyer, Mrs. Ernst Walter, and Mrs. Ed Fuelling of this locality, two step-sisters, Mrs. Will Gossman of Farmersburg and Mrs. Aug.
