Hamilton Kielholtz.

Hamilton Kielholtz, son of Samuel and Susan Kielholtz, was born in Tiffin, Ohio, March 08, 1857. He died July 16, 1941, at Volga, Iowa, at the age of 84 years, four months and eight days. As a child he came to Volga which has been his life long home.

On August 04, 1878, he was united in marriage to Ella Marble, who died Feb. 19, 1910. Six children were born to the couple, two of whom, an infant and Ed. who grew to manhood, preceded their father in death.

Four children, Lester and Mrs. Alta Tomkins of Volga, and Lynn and Mrs. Leta Myers of Detroit, Mich., survive. Other surviving relatives include nine grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, a nephew, Ralph Keilholtz in Kansas, and several other nephews and nieces.

Mr. Keilholtz was a member of the Volga Methodist church and his family has been active in the church.

Funeral services were held Saturday afternoon at the Methodist church with the pastor, the Rev. D. V. Butler, officiating. The choir composed of Jennie Susie, Mrs. D. V. Butler, Clarence Kohls and Harry Boleyn, was accompanied at the piano by Mrs. F. P. Gernand.

Casket bearers were: William Goodin, Walter Everitt, William Chase, Ben Roys, William Ewing and Frank Oldfather. Burial was in Hill Crest cemetery at Volga.

Out of town relatives and friends attending the funeral included: Miss Neva Copeland, Missoula, Mont.; Mrs. Leta Myers, Detroit, Mich.; Mr. and Mrs. Leonard Larson, Oelwein; Mr. and Mrs. Henry Larson, Herman Larson, Wadena; Mr. and Mrs. Chas. Yearous, Arlington, and Forrest Keilholtz, Burlington.
