STRAWBERRY POINT: Funeral services for Mrs. John Walker occurred Monday morning at St. Mary's Catholic church, the Rev. Father P. J. Boyle officiating. Burial was made in the local cemetery.

As Sarah Posey she was born at Clementsville, Kentucky, on Feb. 20. 1859. In 1892 she was married to John Walker and the couple resided in Kentucky about 32 years after which they moved to this vicinity where they resided on several farms around and for the last eight years in town. Mrs. Walker died Saturday morning after an illness of three years. Surviving besides her husband are three sons and one daughter, Albert of Watseka, Ill., Arbie and Welby both of Strawberry Point and Mrs. Fay (Sadie) Donaldson of Oelwein, eight grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
