Clayton County Register, 11 June 1941.

The body of Emil Knoch was brought to Guttenberg Wednesday evening from Elkader, where he died.

Funeral services were held on Thursday afternoon and interment was made in the Guttenberg cemetery.

Mr. Knoch came to Guttenberg from Germany when he was 28 years old and had been employed by the railroad for many years.

Several years ago he went to Elkader, where he has been a resident at the Clayton county home.

There are no survivors.
