Funeral services for Mrs. Mary English were held at nine o'clock Monday morning from St. Patrick's Catholic church, with the Rev. Father Luke Donlon of Monona and the Rev. Father Frank English, a nephew of the deceased officiating and burial was made in the parish cemetery beside her husband and four sons. Mrs. English suffered a stroke several years ago and had been an invalid since and was cared for by Mr. and Mrs. Charles J. English.
She is survived by six sons: Patrick J. English, Charles J. English and John English, all of Monona; Frank J. English of Jonesboro, Ark.; Ben English of Washington, D.C. and Ed. English of Klamath Falls, Oregon.
Mrs. English was a happy, kind hearted women, a true friend and neighbor and perfect mother. She was a very faithful member of the Catholic church. Her ideal life is an inspiration to all.
The sympathy of the community is extended the Englishes in their loss of their good mother.
