Mrs. David E. Hansel was buried, last Wednesday in the Hansel cemetery, near Garber, following services at the late home, the Rev. R. E. Stearns of Fredericksburg officiating.
Elizabeth Grace, daughter of John and Mary Grace, was born near Colesburg, Iowa on May 22, 1867, and died at her home, where she has spent her last 54 years, at the age of 73 years, 10 months and 15 days.
She was united in marriage to David E. Hansel, at Osterdock, Ia., on May 29, 1887.
Three children came to bless this union.
Surviving are the husband, two sons, Harry and Ray of Edgewood, and one daughter, Mrs. Bert Palmer of Elkport, and eight grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren.
She is also survived by two sisters, Mrs. William Bond of Edgewood and Mrs. Charlie Landis of Manchester, besides many other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her mother and father and one sister.
