Clayton County Register, 16 Mar. 1941.

MONONA: Funeral services were held Monday from the local Funeral home for Mrs. Mary Fillenworth, aged 84, with the Rev. H. W. Farnham officiating. Burial was made in the Gooding cemetery. Mrs. Fillenworth had been troubled with heart trouble for many months, and during the last weeks was cared for by Mrs. E. J. Ha_g.

She was a good Christian, loved by all her neighbors, and always ready to lend a helping hand. Her parents and her husband preceded her in death. Mrs. Edward Wirkler and Harry N. Turner were her faithful relatives who looked after her during the years she needed help.
