STRAWBERRY POINT: Funeral services for Edwin R. Antrim were held Saturday afternoon at the Stafford Funeral Chapel, conducted by the Rev. Glenn S. Hartong, pastor of the local Methodist church. Burial was made in the Strawberry Point cemetery.
As a son of John W. and Louise C. Moore Antrim, he was born at Fort Dodge, Iowa, on July 28, 1870, and died Thursday morning at the University hospital in Iowa City where he had been for the past week. When twelve years of age, he came with his parents to Strawberry Point where they resided for a while, then moved to Dubuque where he secured a position as motorman on a street car for ten years. Later he returned here a short time and then to McGregor. He was married to Miss Etta Adams of Volga on July 10, 1900. To this union three children were born. Returning to Dubuque to his position as motorman remaining there a year and a half. He was a member of the Christian church. Surviving are his children, Mrs. Harry (Edith) Forsythe and Ernest Antrim of Strawberry Point and Rufus Antrim of Winthrop; also six grandchildren and one sister, Mrs. William (Annie) Bowers and one brother William Antrim, both of Strawberry Point. His parents and four sisters have preceded him in death
