Clayton County Register, 10 Oct. 1946.

Funeral services were held Wednesday morning October second for Mrs. Margaret E. Dinan, at the Sacred Heart church in Littleport. Requiem High Mass was read by the Rev. Francis McEnany and burial at St. Joseph's cemetery at Elkader.

Mrs. Dinan died at 3:35 a.m. Monday (Sept. 30) at her home following a long illness.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Michael M. Dinan and son, Richard.

Survivors are: Helen, Mary, Catherine and Robert Dinan, Littleport; Eileen, Davenport; Mrs. Ruth Matt, Garber; John Dinan, Waterloo; Mrs. Charlotte Lenhart, Littleport; Joe Dinan, Elgin; Mrs. Margaret Whittle, Arlington; and her grandchildren.

Casket bearers were J. P. Zapf, William Dahling, Walter Reimer, John Farrell, Ray Hughes and John Leonard.
