Clayton County Register, 05 Sept. 1946.

Funeral services for the twin daughter of Mrs. Ruth Clinton were held at the home of the grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Henry Baars at 10 o'clock Friday, Aug. 23, the Rev. Paul Kitterer officiating.

The baby was born at the University hospital in Iowa City at 3:00 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 21, where the mother had been taken by ambulance following the birth of a son at her home in Littleport at 4:45 a.m.

Mrs. Clinton returned to her home Wednesday. The son, Dennis Delbert, who is in an incubator is being cared for at the Baars home where he is making fine progress.

Miss Marinette Jacobs is the nurse on the case.

Note: The obit of her father Vernon, names her as Donna Ruth, twin of Dennis, who survived.
