Scheffler, Louise 1890 - 1946

Clayton County Register, 11 July 1946. Strawberry Point coluumn.

Miss Louise Scheffler, 56, died at Allen Memorial hospital in Waterloo Monday after an operation for goiter a few days before. She was in the hospital 12 days.

Daughter of Leopold and Emelia Donn Scheffler, she was born June 01, 1890 at Aurora.

Surviving are one brother August of Arlington, two nephews Leroy Scheffler of Arlington and Florian Haufle of Monroe, Wash., and a niece, Mrs. Mark Powell of Davenport. Funeral services were held in Emanuel Lutheran church Friday afternoon conducted by the Rev. S. J. Meyer. Burial was here.
