Clayton County Register, 11 July 1946.

Gustaf Hader, 89, life long resident of Highland township, died suddenly on Saturday, July 06, at the home of his son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Orval Frieden.

Funeral services were held from the Witt Funeral chapel at 1:00 o'clock on Wednesday afternoon, and the Highland Lutheran church at 2:00. Burial was in the adjoining cemetery. The Rev. Sundby of Decorah officiated.
