Mrs. Minnie Fairweather, 76, died Thursday morning at her home.

Minnie L. Wiltse, daughter of Ira and Elizabeth Wiltse, was born in Delaware county Sept. 23, 1869. On June 19, 1889, she was married to Robert Fairweather. They farmed in this community until retiring to Strawberry Point. Mr. Fairweather died many years ago. Survivors are three sons, Claude of Cedar Falls, Clint of Edgewood, and Clare of Strawberry Point; 12 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were held Saturday afternoon at the Gill funeral chapel conducted by the Rev. R. Park Anderson. The body was placed in the receiving vault at the cemetery.
