Burial services were held Saturday at Hill Crest cemetery for Ernest Howard Bachtell, 77, who died last Monday, at the home of his niece, Mrs. W. K. Meyer, near Arlington.

Mr. Bachtell was born May 02, 1873 at Volga, the son of Thomas and Adelia Bachtell. He married Stella Morgan, and they lived at St. Olaf and McGregor, before he went to Arlington eight years ago.

Surviving are a brother, Vernon of McGregor, and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife, eight brothers, a sister and a son, who was killed in World War II.
